Our history
Arte Tessile was born in 1984 when Angelo Lorvetti, a textile designer with two decades of experience in the field, decided to open a new studio for the creation of Jacquard and Raschel designs in Busto Arsizio: his hometown, a vital element in the textile supply chain, especially for cotton, and well-connected to other manufacturing districts.
The studio quickly grew thanks to a team of textile experts, experienced pattern designers, and CAD technicians, becoming a reference point for numerous companies throughout the national territory.
In the 90s, Angelo's children also joined the company: Deborah, who would mainly handle the commercial activities of the company, and Fabio, who worked alongside his father in the technical realisation of designs. It was with Fabio that the Multibarre design line was added.
By participating in the editions of ITMA '95, '99, 2003, and 2007, the company successfully reached foreign markets as well. Since 2011, the presence at ITMA has materialised through the creation of designs for Jacquard loom and machine manufacturers that "ran" throughout the event.
Over time, three internal reorganisations were necessary: the first two due to the contraction of the Italian market and excessive uncertainty in foreign markets. It was inevitable to restructure the company and rethink internal processing methods, making them increasingly efficient and faster, despite the growing complexity.
Since 2008, the generational change has become effective, and in those years, the company decided to focus almost exclusively on the national market. This decision bore fruit: the third reorganisation was necessary for a return to growth.
At the end of 2022, Arte Tessile snc became part of the Fratelli Piacenza Industrial Group, giving rise to Arte Tessile Italia srl: the operational headquarters and technical team remain unchanged, as does the company's mission and key points. The operation arose after many years of direct collaboration and to initiate new projects. The company remains open to the entire market, bringing its 40 years of accumulated know-how to serve customers interested in quality service.
